Service was a disappointment. Waiter or staff never asked how the food was and only came around when our plates were empty. Wanted to order a glass of wine with my entree but I was almost done with my food when someone came around. Food was good, but overall experience left a bad taste.

Everything went really well! Selections and food were very good! Randy E took really good care of us and gave excellent service! Other restaurant staff were noticed to work well and efficiently together too.

Always a nice evening at Chef Chai. The food is always delicious and the plentiful. You will never leave hungry and almost always some leftovers to take home. Thank you Chef Chai for having a beautiful restaurant.

Great food and wonderful service overall (Thanks, Tim). We did the Early Bird dinner set. One of the best dinners we’ve had in our Honolulu trip. We will definitely be back.😊

I paid $400 for good food but mediocre service. They didn’t bring my wife her drink which is a standard drink on their cocktail list. When I inquired after awhile they told us “oh we are our out of an ingredient and can’t make it.” If I had not asked they would never have told us. I said well, can you get something else? “Sure, what do you want ma’am”. A menu since she didn’t memorize your list. Then they take a really long time to being her replacement cocktail. A top restaurant should fix its mistake quickly. Next the Main courses come. My son ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. I ask the server which is which and he said “they are both the same.” None of these are terrible mistakes but when you charge high prices and have two different lines for tips (servers and kitchen staff) your service should be bettee.
