Chef Jono at V&V is an award winning restaurant by Masterchef Finalist Jono Hawthorne that offers a Modern British dining experience which has a focus on quality seasonal produce and creative cooking, presented in a precise and elegant way. From Wednesday to Saturday we offer the Signature Tasting Menu throughout the week, changing to the Sunday Lunch Tasting Menu every Sunday.

Awards won: Hospitality Provider of the Year 2021 - Garbutt and Elliot Awards, Best Restaurant and Best Chef, 2022 - Oliver Awards, Best Fine Dining- England Food Awards, 2022.

We loved the food and service was amazing! We would definitely go back for the evening menu too. The waiters were brilliant and very good at telling us about the courses and wine pairings. The plates and cutlery were fab too. The only slight thing was that it was very cold in the restaurant (could be because we sat by the window) but it’s only a slight thing. We loved it all and had a brilliant time. We loved the signed menu we got as we were celebrating my birthday.

As expected our visit to V&V was perfect. The service was noticeably excellent; attentive but not too much. And the food was superb. I made the mistake of having a couple of cocktails before visiting - I’ll ensure to go on an empty stomach next time as the food is more filling than expected. Looking forward to returning in the new year.

If Carlsberg made restaurants , with amazing tasty courses, great service and that’s reasonably priced, then Jono’s the one !

Excellent experience. The food was first class, beautifully presented, great ingredients, and wonderful flavours. A chef at the top of his game. The wine pairing was also really good (if a little expensive at £70 per person for no more than a bottle of wine each), but it certainly adds to the overall experience. The waiters were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. We spoke to Chef Jono as we left which was great to be able to share our thanks directly with him and talk about his restaurant. HIghly recommended and will return at some point.

Love coming here as they are able to cater for my food intolerance. The staff are friendly and you can have a laugh with them also. The background music is great and the food is AMAZING!
