Chesapeake’s West derives much of its authentic Eastern Shore qualities from décor that features genuine nautical antiques and artifacts. Pairing this cozy, seaside ambiance with welcoming service and fresh ingredients has made it the perfect spot for creating memorable moments.

As part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants, we offer fresh seafood that’s sourced daily, local, handcrafted microbrews, an extensive wine list and prime-graded beef. We are known for live Maine lobster, Maryland Crab cakes, a variety of fresh fish, and assorted oyster selection.

    Service was superb. Harrison was timely & attentive. Food was great, but it came out of the kitchen lukewarm. Squash wouldn’t even melt the butter! Quality of the food and service need to be matched by kitchen’s timing. Otherwise, the dining experience will suffer!

    Great atmosphere, service and food. They offer a nice variety of seafood and there are also steaks on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    We had a wonderful night at Chesapeake’s! This was probably our best night here for dinner. Our server was very attentive and wonderful and the food was great

    Mustard sauce for stone crab claws was terrible! There are much better mustard sauce recipes! The sauté fish, if done right, doesn’t have to be buried in heavy flour and bland sauce. It’s not a one off. The last time I had halibut that was over baked and suffered from the sauce issue.

    Blackened grouper was superb! Shrimp scampi was excellent! Fried scallops were great. Clam chowder was good. Only problem was extremely hot spinach Maria! Too much pepper- couldn’t eat it.

    Our server was sweet and had a fun and witty sense of humor. I had the crab bisque and the crab cakes and my husband had the seared mahi tuna. DELICIOUS!
