   Had a Valentine reservation but when we showed up the Host didn't seem to care and wanted to sit us in an empty room. After talking to the Manager we were seated inside at a table. The Host was very unprofessional.

   I made reservations and still had the wait, which I understood . The problem that I had was the staff was seating non reservation groups (same size as my group). The other issue was they were extremely understaffed. My group and I was told our food wood take 20min but it took 1hr 1/2. The waitress kept forgetting our drinks and appetizers. Also, when our food finally arrived, our meals were cold(as if it had been sitting out for a while) . At least 3 of my guests had to ask for their food to be reheated.

   We were seated right away. Food took WAY TOO LONG, almost an hour. Ordered 2 soups & 3 entrees. Was FREEZING inside the restaurant! OUT OF CHIPS & SALSA!!! My favorite thing there & only reason I go. Finally asked our waitress about the soups because I could not stand the cold any longer. The entrees came & still no soups. Told the runner I no longer wanted my soup. He did not respond & came back with the soups. Food was good. Manager took off the soups & kids meal. Waitress was good & tried. Was not a happy way to end our Christmas day....

   Chevy's provided our Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was perfectly cooked, and the pumpkin pie was a next level delight. We enjoyed every bite of everything. And the service was great. Many thanks to the staff who worked on Thanksgiving Day to provide such a wonderful meal.

   We have not been to Chevys (for dinner) in years! Decided to go back - everything is pretty much the same; very good food, good service, nice ambience. What I was very surprised was the fact that the prices had soared astronomically! I also noticed that the portions were smaller! My wife and I go to very nice Italian restaurants in the bay area and pay a hefty price. We paid a very similar price here at this Chevys! (and we did not order a whole lot!) Very surprising, and very disappointing at the same time. Note: about a month ago my daughter and I went to this particular Chevys for lunch. I ordered the lunch size fajitas platter. I paid much less than the dinner platter I got with my wife (and it was the same exact size!) So if you want to save a buck, go to their lunch specials!
