   We had a reservation but still had to wait for a table. Once seated we waited 10min before anyone came to our table to drop off chips and salsa…and another 15-20min before the server came to take our order. We asked if we could order drinks first. Drinks took forever and once delivered 2 of the margaritas couldn’t be delivered bc they were out of watermelon (so queue another 10min wait). Food took forever to come out and then 4/5 of the orders came wrong and had to be sent back. Another 15min and the rest of the orders came out but 1 still came out wrong which took another 10+min to correct. We couldn’t get our or any server’s attention for the life of us. We stopped a manager looking person and they even forgot to deliver what we asked for. It took forever for us to get the check. All in all, our dinner reservation was over 3 hours in length. They were definitely understaffed or undertrained for the max capacity they were operating under.

   We had a 5:30 dinner reservation and surprised how busy it was. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated in a very cold area of the restaurant. Our server, Rubiela, was very pleasant and was working so hard with all the tables she was serving. 5 stars for Rubiela! The food was good.

   We love Chevy’s. The food is great and reasonably priced. After chips with Chevy’s excellent salsa, we had the bbq chicken wings. Then we had the steak fajitas and the chicken flautas with jalapeno jelly. Everything was great.

   We ordered the cheese dip and it arrived with tiny, broken chips that we would not dip. The staff kept moving metal chairs around, scraping the floor and the noise level was screeching high. We could not converse with one another. This went on for some time. My date's food was just OK (the cheese enchiladas), but my crab enchiladas were outstanding. I would like my money back because it was a unfortunate date. Thank you.

   The food at Chevy’s in South San Francisco is consistently good. I ordered the green enchilada special that was featured on the standup card on the table. I’m so glad I did! They were delicious! We also shared the guacamole which is prepared right at your table. It was so good and worth every penny!

   My family likes to come to Chevys to celebrate birthday dinners however, over the years the food has been disappointing here. The food has no flavor and is just dry. Portions are not the same as what it used to be as well, so not worth the prices. I think we will be choosing a different restaurant for birthday celebrations.

   Miguel was a great server. He was always attentive meaning he would ask if we needed anything instead of us having to look for him. The food was great and the tortillas amazing. Definitely recommend. A+

    Came here on a Friday after work. The parking lot was packed. A few things to note the Happy hour is only in the Cantina and cannot be applied to your order in the restaurant. I ate on the restaurant side and had the chicken flautas, the steak & shrimp fajitas, and the surf and turf plate. The flautas were nice, crispy and packed with flavor. For the entrees the protein portions were on the lighter side and the steak was dry. However, the shrimp was quite tasty in both dishes. Our server Miguel was awesome! He was very attentive and anticipated our request. He brought out salsa before we went dry and refilled my drink before I was done. I will likely come back and as they have many deals like taco Tuesday and happy hour til 9pm.
