   We had a truly wonderful meal and experience. The only issue we had was that we ordered the porter house steak off the special menu and there was no mention of the price. When we received the bill we were pretty shocked to see that a single dish cost $255. Even though it was split between two people, we really would have appreciated someone telling us this when we ordered. We feel like at that price point it’s reasonable to expect that level of courtesy. We would love to return for a future reservation and are so happy this amazing restaurant has opened on the upper east side.

   So shocked by the hype and reviews. We were really excited to finally get a reservation and what a disappointment it was. It’s immensely overpriced and the food does not warrant the cost. The crab was runny and mushy, we only had one bite and that was more than enough, the server knew we didn’t enjoy it and just ignored it. The chicken was simply chicken, not sure why it was $85! And service was extremely slow.. I asked for lemons 4 times, it became a joke between me and my husband. Very underwhelming experience.

   Place it amazing! Such a needed addition to the UES. Delicious food, friendly staff and a beautiful spot. And try the lounge upstairs for a swanky bevvy.

   One of the best meals ever. We started with the foie gras and then the endive salad. Next was the deviled crab and the steak fries. Would order the same again. It’s a hard reservation to get but worth it.

   Had been dying to go here. Upon arrival for an 8:15 reservation, was told it would just be 15 minutes. We were finally seated at 9pm with barely any apology. The bar to wait was packed with other reservations who had been waiting the same amount of time as us, if not more. Food was great, but left bummed by the overall experience.

   From check-in to dining to check-out, the service was exceptional. We felt truly cared for and welcomed with outstanding customer service. It was like being part of a family, enjoying a warm and inviting dinner at home.

    Overall a great experience! Food was very good and probably the best cod i had in US so far! Even if we decided to order the wine at the glass i think it’s always good if the waitress ask you to try the wine, which didn’t happen, she just pour the wine in the glass and left, so far the only complain. The place is super loud but i personally didn’t mind, it’s subjective, so if you don’t like loud place it’s something to think about it. The bar upstairs it’s very cool and has a an incredible selection of spirits and cocktails, highly recommended!
