   The Caesar salad is incredible. I had the Dover sole which was excellent. The special of the night was the mahi-mahi with crab meat and my guest enjoyed it just as much. We even splurged for dessert with the pistachio gelato, and it was worth the calories.

   Kitchen was slow. Didn’t really care for duck ala orange. Nice dining area with open window but lighting was too strong; would be better if could dim it. They charge more to use a credit card.

   After reading such wonderful reviews we decided to try Chez Frenchie. We realize you expect to wait when a restaurant is busy in season but not an hour for your entrees. Cocktails arrived timely and was told bread would be out soon. A half hour later we asked the hostess where’s our bread? After 45 minutes we asked our waitress for our dinner and was told it takes time to prepare this food. After an hour later my husband had a veal dish which was stringy and tough. My chicken entree was good but something I could make at home. Not worth the wait nor the expense.

   We waited almost 3 hours to get our dinner . The dinner was cold, steak inedible., service horrible. This place used to be good, don’t know what has happened. Cannot recommend.

   I made a reservation on open table hours before our arrival. They didn’t have our reservation. We stood at the hostess podium for 10 minutes then were approached by I assume was the mgr. I showed my confirmation to both ppl but still waited. They offered me an outside table but I wasn’t interested in outside. 10 minutes later we still don’t have a seat. There must have been 8 tables available. After she became a tad defensive we left. I’ll never go back there. Probably why there we 8 open tables. Bad decision

   Great food and great service. The French cuisine very good and reminiscent of our visits to France. Wine selection was good and server let us sample different wines before making a decision. Host was friendly and greeted us warmly.

   We went back twice : on December 25th and on January 1st ; very nice atmosphere with authentic and delicious French food. As a welcome, The French Chef gave us his homemade yummy French bread and tapanade, then we both had delicate foie gras, then my husband had a very tender filet mignon and I had a delicious baked brie. Staff members were very professional and accommodating. We will be back for the famous raclette before we hit back to North.
