   Our family went for Christmas Eve which had a limited menu. Great options and overall food was good but service was extremely slow. We were there for 3 hours. While we had a group of 14, it was not crowded and we had to track our server down several times. It was a holiday so I’m sure staff was limited. Overall we had a good dinner. However for $85 per person, I don’t believe we would do it again.

   Our family from NY cerebrated Christmas at Choplin’s for the first time after hearing great things about the restaurant from friends in the area. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. The food was delicious, portions were huge and the dessert menu had something for everyone! For a group of 15, it’s not easy to satisfy everybody and Choplins nailed it! The interior has modern touches, yet warm and friendly. We can’t wait to return to this family operated gem. The service was impeccable even with so many Christmas parties going on. We live in New York City where there are amazing restaurants. I would recommend Choplin’s to anyone who has high expectations for steaks and seafood. Thank you for making our family celebration truly memorable! Kudos the owners Faith and chef Wes who came out to check on our group and to Samantha who made sure everyone enjoyed! Merry Christmas!

   We had a lovely dinner. It was busy but the staff handled the holiday rush of parties and patrons with expediency and smooth service.Always a wonderful meal and experience there.

   We had a wonderful Christmas party with our friends and family on Friday. Our group was larger than most of the parties there (14 of us), but our server Allie did a fantastic job. The food was amazing and we were happily surprised to see Classic Filipino Steak on the menu! We met Faith, the wife and business partner of chef Wes who is the founder of Choplin’s and found out she’s Filipino, hence the special steak on the menu. She was very hospitable, as well as her cousin Samantha who is the manager who continue to check on our group throughout dinner service. We love that it’s a family operated restaurant. You can really feel it in their service. Thank you Choplin’s for a wonderful 1st experience, especially on such a busy night! Salamat po! We will be back!

   Sadly, we had a bad experience. The scallops we ate were spoiled / clearly bad - sandy and a strong chemical taste and smell. For the price it was not what you would expect. Won’t be back unfortunately.

   We have eaten at Choplin’s in the past and enjoyed it but it has definitely gone downhill. We will not ever go back! The crab appetizer was mostly cheese and very little crab. Not worth the $17. The lollipop lamb chops were tough and well done when medium was requested. The mashed potatoes were served cold and the sauce over the chops was too much (maybe camouflaging the entree). Sea bass was ok but nothing great and again the rice and string beans were served lukewarm. Filet mignon was about the only decent thing. It was not a memorable meal for 4 and definitely not worth over $300. (Incidentally we only had one glass each of wine!)

   Choplins is going in the wrong direction. Food order was placed incorrectly so 3/4 received there meals while 4th was received twenty minutes later. No real apology given. Prices have increased while portion sizes have been reduced. It’s too bad used to be a really good restaurant.

    We have been to Choplins many times and always been pleased. This time the food wasn’t on par. Brussel Sprouts were undercooked, steak was good but nothing out of the ordinary and the duck was plain with no charred exterior. Chicken wasn’t tender kinda dry. Service was outstanding, decor is cozy-chic but very loud. Hopefully this was just an off night
