   Cold food sent back TWICE and still cold!!! Awful service Waited 5 minutes for chips after mains were served No water so toilets were closed Yes we got extra wine but that doesn’t compensate for the awful meal we had Will not be rushing back

   Great Birthday treat for the wife, food and service was great, there was a problem with the water supply but they accommodated brilliantly, well done.

   We waited 50 minutes for a table we had booked and paid a £60 deposit for and never received an apology or even a thankyou for coming.

   The restaurant is a wonderful environment, light airy spacious as there was four of us. The starter was a delicious cheesy garlic bread, however the main course, ravioli, The quality of the food based on taste was good however it was luke warm unfortunately and went cold very quickly on cold plates whilst eating it. Plates need to be warm with hot food on them in my book especially if your charging £21. The service when we arrived was excellent but as the restaurant filled up we felt as though we'd been forgotten. We struggled to get a waiters attention for drinks and a dessert. The desserts were well received and delicious when they came. The service charge is included in the bill at 12.5% which I thought was reasonable. We paid £80 to hold the booking of the table in advance on a credit card probably because we're in December and this is deducted from the bill when the bill arrived which the waiter confirmed verbally prior to disclosing the bill. All in all we did enjoy the Cibo Manchester and the service initially. Perhaps this review will help with some necessary improvements to the quality and service which started off so well to be noted and uplifted in future. Yes I would visit again.

   Seating was delayed by 30 minutes after booking time, service times were prolonged but the food was excellent.

   Disappointing service and awful food. Every Christmas my partner and I visit Manchester and book a high end quality restaurant, Cibo is far from any of those things. Service was slow, none existent for most, we had to ask to place an order after eventually getting someone’s attention. Food was poor, presentation was dreadful. Considering the market they are targeting and the prices they are charging they really need to up their game. Will not be returning and I suggest anyone thinking of going to Cibo should book an alternative restaurants.

   Went to the restaurant on a December Friday lunchtime, so it was reasonably full. Food was ok but nothing spectacular, with the steaks being very average. Only real complaint was the temperature of the place. Given that it is a former bank with massively high ceilings it really takes some heating, so a few degrees warmer would have definitely made us feel a bit more comfortable.

   Food arrived to quick fillet steak tasted funny when we were leaving asked where we could get a taxi they were very unhelpful left a good tip as well as the service charge
