   Good food, very nice chateaubriand but would have been better if we’d been given warm plates. Attentive service. Would go again.

   Terrible service. Had finished starters before any drink arrived. We had to chase drinks twice. Same with dessert. Finished dessert before a drink arrived and we had to chase the drinks again.

   My risotto was extremely bland, could tell the fish was fresh but there was little to no taste other than that.

   Our third time at this restaurant in two months. Lovely staff, beautiful room and we both loved the food again! Will be back for sure whenever we visit Manchester . Phillip P Keene

   Lovely meal for my daughter’s birthday, in a stunning building. Very attentive service and food was lovely - felt portions could have been a bit bigger, but the seafood parts of my daughter’s meal were the largest I’ve seen, especially the muscles! Enjoyed my Hugo cocktail, but it would’ve been even better with a measure of gin in it…

   I attended with a part of 6 for my birthday first time coming here since Rossos was here. The building was decorated beautifully looking stunning outside Upon entry you are greeted with a magnificent looking bar and the whole place oozes opulence and class! And a live singer. I was in for a treat! Firstly our table was far too small for a party of 6! I found one of the waiters to be quite arrogant, he wasn’t friendly we tried to close the curtains as the lighting for photos wasn’t too good He came over and told us to move our things and we shouldn’t draw the curtains because they are automatically close and open and we will break them ( don’t know how we could have broke them because we just tried to close one panel and they automatically closed themselves) Anyway when we had our mains served he was all in our private space no excuse me, he went on to serve the couple next to us who had tableside serving and he dropped the cutely on the floor along with some fish. No apologies nothing . Our waitress Sal was lovely and attentive her service was great!! The food was delicious apart from one thing that prevented a five star. I had the risotto with seafood and my lingustine was the centre piece of my dish and unfortunately it had not been de-veined so basically the poo tract was still inside!!!! Yes it was very off putting. I fed this info back to Sal I told her it wasn’t a complaint but feedback she said she would mention to the chef. I didn’t expect this especially when your bill is £300!! My partner had the fillet steak which was a-mazing! I would like to go back again.

   Loved our night. Had a lovely waiter who went above & beyond as it was my Birthday. Think we will be remembered as the table who hijacked LL Cool J. 😂 All the staff were lovely. Yes we had to wait a little while for table but we were slightly late with traffic anyway. We weren’t rushed. I could see others overstaying but you can’t blame them as such a good restaurant. Didn’t have to wait for food or drinks. Went like clockwork. Special shout though to our Dominican friend who served. Such a lovely young man. An asset to you. We will be back. Thank you!!

    staff were incredibly rude. i went to the toilet after being taken to my table, when i arrived back my table had been given to someone else. the man (security i think?) told me i should have informed him that i was going to the toilet?? since when should a woman tell a strange man that she is going to the toilet? he told me to queue back up and wait for a table despite me booking this 2 months in advance for my birthday. when i challenged him he threatened to have me kicked out and it completely ruined my night. WILL NOT BE RETURNING
