   I recently visited Ciel Seal for their New Year’s package, and while the food was undeniably delicious, the overall experience was disappointing. At 11:45 PM, we were asked to leave our table and move near the bar area. This was frustrating because when I made the reservation, it stated a two-hour time limit for two people. For a total bill exceeding $600, I expected better. Additionally, I requested two glasses of champagne close to midnight, but neither the server nor the bartender fulfilled this request. The service was disorganized and poor, which dampened the festive atmosphere. While I understand the challenges of a busy New Year’s Eve, the staff should strive to remain more organized to ensure a seamless experience. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues for future occasions. Edit to add: After already paying a $175 deposit fee, I was surprised to find that it wasn’t applied to my bill. On top of that, we were told we’d need to pay an additional $100 fee just to continue sitting at our table which stated a 2 hour window 10-midnight at the time of booking. To make matters worse, I was asked to go to the back to complete the payment, which felt unprofessional and inconvenient. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this establishment based on their payment policies and lack of clarity for special events.

   Fantastic place after the program begins around 11pm. Bottle service however is outrageous. 175.00 of Tequila is a whopping 1900.00.

   Fun and unique dining experience in Houston. Great for a special occasion or girls night out. Fire cocktails were over rated but still good. Food is great!

    After being seated, my wife’s chair got hit by waiters/service workers twice, because they sat us in a high traffic area where restaurant staff walk through constantly. After the second hit to the chair, I requested that can be moved to another area, which they did (high top table), however they sat us right next to the stairs which seemed to be a popular hangout for the workers when taking a break, so every conversation they had, we heard. Also, while sitting at the high top table, my wife’s chair was hit twice by staff because the restaurant is so cramed. To continue, during the hour that we were there, we had around 5 different waiters attending to our service, which lead to them asking us more than twice if we needed something that we already ordered. Lastly, we had reservations at 7pm, and they were still setting up and having a meeting, which the hostess told us. The food was good, especially the steak and shrimp appetizer, but the experience was mediocre at best.
