Nice ambience but food was quite disappointing. The pani puri and samosa chat was good but other than that it wasnt anything special. The desserts weren't great and the maccaron was hard as a stone. They did a nice sticky toffee pudding for my wife's birthday and really appreciated the service and hospitality but food was a let down I have to say. Sorry but its honest feedback.

We came on Fathers Day and were seated near the front on the restaurant, it seemed rather quiet and the waiter didn’t seem very happy. The food was excellent, loved the king prawn curry and butter chicken! Only poor taste experience was the Chai at the end. This tasted like Chai Tea rather than masala chai and wasn’t creamy or sweet at all.

This was a return visit, having previously been on an evening with normal noise levels for a restaurant on a Friday evening. The food is excellent and we have tried some really delicious new (to us) dishes. The staff are very engaging, our favourite waiter being there again. We had a window table as requested in advance. All was good initially. I would have given five stars for everything but our experience was soured somewhat by an extremely exuberant, large group (c.14-16 people) seated behind/to the side of us. Much moving around and high volume interactions, including whilst standing behind my chair. One member of the party had an extremely shrill voice I would have appreciated staff politely asking if they could be a little less noisy/stop chatting standing up directly behind my chair, so this did spoil part of the meal. It was a leaving do and we totally understood the vibe but I'd recommend checking in person re large groups before booking in that part of the restaurant (the area they use is on the side wall on the right as you enter the door). After putting up with this for c 30 minutes, hoping the noise and activity would subside, we mentioned to our waiter and were offered a change of table, away from said group. As we'd started our main meals by then, that wasn't really very practical. The restaurant does not seem to recognise that other customers don't want a group with increasing levels of noise to dominate proceedings. This is disappointing - especially as with a tip our bill (for two) was c £160. Our expectation was that a rowdy group would not be left to continue for such a long time after noise levels became so loud. Eventually to our relief the group left, so at least our desserts and drinks were better enjoyed. Everything else - food, drinks, service, ambiance - when the group wasn't milling around or voice projecting!- was excellent. Request -please could you include a standard lassi drink ie with no fruit /other flavours - on the menu?

It was my first time at the Bazaar and I was really looking forward to trying it. I wasn’t disappointed! The restaurant looks really colourful and inviting. The service was very attentive and the waiter took really good care of me as I made him aware of my lactose intolerance. The food didn’t disappoint as it was tasty, interesting and luscious. We were particularly impressed with the potato cake in the starters and the Biryani. We were celebrating a birthday and we were surprised, at the end of the meal, by a free dessert with a candle- lovely touch. Thank you very much for the experience, I will be back with my family .
