    Since City Grille opened in the summer of 2023 I’ve had half a dozen very good meals there and recommended the restaurant to many. At lunch yesterday everything changed. The classic pastrami I ordered had more mustard than pastrami and sauerkraut. The beet & goat cheese salad my friend ordered arrived stone cold and without any beets. When a server finally brought the beets they were almost entirely frozen. My companion was then invited to make a replacement selection and chose crème brûlée, which was gummy and stale. Hugely disappointing to experience such extreme decline at City Grille.

    Great experience. Food was amazing and service was as well. Oysters were lovely!! I thoroughly enjoyed the octopus too. If there was a spirits menu it would be a 5-star. As a dining guest we weren’t able to know what was available via menu other than wine. Our server got a few items to consider from the bar verbally, but when we walked out we saw many options that would have been a nice choice to know. I’d go back again and highly recommend for a special occasion or a regular night out.

    We enjoyed two very fine meals, one the rack of lamb, the other a boar sausage and pasta special. Service was impeccable and the wine accompanying the meal well served. The meal ended with an apple tart dessert that was divine. Our first, but certainly not last, visit was a wonderful precursor to a night at the theatre.

    My Salmon lunch entre' was perfectly cooked, a generous portion and absolutely delicious! My guest ordered the Nola Muffaletta Pita lunch sandwich and said it was delicious! very generous portion with delicious fries. Super efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended!

    Always superb! From the moment u walk in till dessert. The service is phenomenal, the waitress is very knowledgeable and the food is best I’ve had. This will always be my first pick for date night

    Food was great and our waitress was excellent- she and the chef went above and beyond to cater to our gluten free need. The host could have been more friendly and welcoming but still a great experience. The drinks were awesome too!
