   We were very happy to have a wonderful dinner in a quiet location (well it was a Sunday evening!). Great food in an inn with the best view of the Green Mountains. Pork osso Bucco with risotto was perfect- falling off the bone and delicious. Another person had chicken cacciatore - large portion! Not sure about the pasta with pomodoro sauce - pretty basic. I think the entrees are likely the way to go. Tiramisu was recommended for dessert and was divine - like eating fluffiest of cake (splash of chocolate sauce always helps!). Nice quiet dining room with a fireplace. The bar area also serves, it’s possible that is a bit noisier but plenty of room and great sunset views from the whole front of the inn. We will be back - for a special dinner. Not inexpensive but worth it!!

   Out first time here. From the moment we walked in it was a nice experience. Our hostess was so sweet. I forgot her name because I would have loved to mention her. Dan was our server. He was knowledgeable and honest about menu choices. It was refreshing and appreciated. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the meatball app was delicious. Really can’t say enough good things about our night.

   The cold appitizers came out first so when the hot apps came - they were barely warm. I had the meatballs and the food was cold is some spots and warm in the other. As far as dinner, we had one guest returned his salmon twice since it was not cooked the way he ordered it and I couldn't eat my dish. I had the chicken milanese. I didn't complain or return my dish, but I should have.

   A beautiful restaurant, wonderful hospitality and ambience. However, being an Italian, born and raised in New York I can honestly say that the overall cuisine would be rated at 3 stars. Basically overcooked across the board ( meats & pastas ). Tried the Cannolis as well but not authentic cannoli cream for sure.

    Myself and friends have been coming here from upstate NY for several years. We always come for the Sunday brunch and have never been disappointed until recently. Several months ago, we were told at 2pm that the kitchen had closed and that coffee and desert were not an option. Today @ 1:30 pm we were advised that dessert was no longer being offered with brunch. We were also made to feel that being served coffee was not appreciated. The entire experience left us with a negative taste. Because of this, we will regretably not return.
