   We went in for lunch. And choose from the 2 course set menu. It was all delicious and generous portions. The flavours and combinations were spot on. And of course the whole experience was made more memorable by the lovely staff.

   I came back after an outstanding experience last time - and enjoyed it just as much. Excellent food, welcoming and warm staff and a super nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

   Lovely supper at Clipstone. Hoggat and onion tart starters excellent, as were the pork chopped and pollack mains. Very reasonably priced albarino wine from wine list. Service was discreet but attentive. Overall recommended.

   Friendly and unpretentious service from start to finish. The food is great and the menu varied and constantly changing. It's a bit on the pricey side for it's low key set-up but would definitely go back

    We had a fantastic experience at Clipstone. Everything -- the food, drinks, service, atmosphere -- were divine. There wasn't a single dish that I didn't love, and others I checked in with agreed. The table size was also perfect for a moderately large group of 7, as it allowed us to have group conversations as well as various side-bars with different people. I would definitely recommend and plan to come back!
