Clipstone is a neighbourhood restaurant located on the corner of Clipstone Street in Fitzrovia.

As we are a very small restaurant, we will need your table back after 1 hour and 30 minutes, which will be ample time to enjoy what we offer.

Excellent food and superb service.My guest had the Highland steak, beautiful tender and rare, while I ate from the super value lunch menu. The food is wonderful quality and carefully curated. The wines etc are limited but likewise good quality. If you want a casual but super dining experience this is a great choice. I had a deceptively innocuous delicious pear and absinthe cocktail as an aperitif, first time with absinthe and it was clearly present but well tempered.

This is my second visit here in three days. First, my daughter and I had a lovely 3 course Sunday dinner and then I followed up with a 2 course lunch today. The server from dinner recognized and greeted me warmly when I walked in the door today. She also happens to manage the wine list and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject, so makes great food and wine pairing suggestions. The food is beautifully made with fresh seasonal ingredients, the staff provides excellent service and the ambience is comfortable and homey. Clipstone is a very enjoyable experience all around, and I highly recommend it.

We really like the Clipstone restaurant and regularly come back to it. However this time, it was not as usual. Maybe the film crew working around and celebrities took the staff attention. Do not get me wrong, food was tasty prepared, but the service was not as usual. Staff obviously was polite, but it was missing what makes this place special and was making us to come back.
