   We love Coastal Kitchen! It is my favorite restaurant and we go there very often. Food is always good, staff is cheerful and friendly.

   We are regulars at this restaurant, Somehow are table reservation placed us outside. Which we have never sat in all the years we have been there. We had to take that or wait for 50 minutes - staff and manager unhelpful - basically take it or leave it attitude. Since we were celebrating my birthday we took the outside table. As we were leaving our server said, oh happy birthday

   Went there on a friends recommendation. Easy to get a reservation and parking good. Menu almost too eclectic. Lunch for 2 with tip over $90! Not worth the price. Menu seems tired. We went the appetizer route and it was just okay. Staff friendly but i had to ask for a refill of my armold palmer. No wow factors.

   An area favorite restaurant we always visit when we are in town. The food is consistently great. The service is very good. At rush time it is quite noisy. Nice outdoor dining when the evenings are warm.

   We return to Coastal Kitchen often for the delicious food and great service. Noise level can be an issue so eat outside in good weather. The ahi is amazing and Parker dinner rolls are to die for.

   I was disappointed because I made a reservation for 12 PM on a Friday for my friend’s birthday lunch 15 days prior. We were seated in the back in a dark uneventful area. I should’ve asked to be moved, but the restaurant was fairly full. Our server was good for the most part but inattentive. I ordered the lunch fillet medium, and it came out extremely rare so undercooked that the middle was very cold and raw. I could not get anyone’s attention for quite a while to send it back. I finally saw our server and made eye contact with him. They took the steak back and cooked it more towards medium. That wasn’t much of an apology. Kind of screwed up our meal because I was eating my entrée alone while the rest of our party had finished. It was my first time at your restaurant. I live locally and I don’t think I will be returning. I expected a better experience.

   Another  amazing dinner at coastal kitchen. Enjoyed the trout dip and Cajun shrimp as an appetizer. We had the Hawaiian ribeye and crabcakes to share. The crabcakes are an amazing value so much crab and can’t find that anywhere in OC! Go for the crabcakes! Rounded it out with a delicious butter cake and Keylime pie.

    Had the clam chowder, Caesar salad (this is not your traditional Caesar - the dressing is more like a Dijon / mustard type dressing which I wasn’t fond of. Ahi main was good, nothing super special but side coleslaw was tasty. Buns are warm, doughy and so yummy with a warm butter spread. Service was super speedy which we appreciated and food came out lightning fast. Overall a good meal, but not incredible.
