Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    The food is always good. We love having a consistent local neighborhood restaurant we can count on. Today was BBQ ribs with fries and cole slaw. Love it! Service is always good as well. Enough but, not too much contact!

    My recent dining experience was truly exceptional, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Tonya. From the moment we were seated, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Tonya went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, and we left feeling thoroughly impressed. Thanks for making it a fun evening!

    We were seated in the bar area and the noise level was so great we could hardly communicate with our guests. We’ll never do that again.

    One of our favorite restaurants! Always good quality food and drinks. Great staff and service. Love the ahi salad! Also want to thank the he owners for being great community supporters!

    Welllllll.... not sure if it was the waiter's fault But.................... #1 it was a birthday dinner for son.............. never mentioned it and got a lousy table by the hostess station TOOOOO LOUD and no free dessert, #2 forgot his salad as we were eating ours and I had to flag him down to get his attention to get him to bring his salad before the main course ( hate doing that) ... He did comp the salad and that was fair... dinner /food ok ... Then we wanted decaf coffee and one at a time he brought it out A!!!!!! Your coffee machine is broken?????????????? B Really??? Your a pretty well established place and I was not very happy and probably will not return ...

    I did not care for my dish at all. I had cioppino which normally would be a spicy tomato based sauce but it came in an A1 steak type of sauce. My wife enjoyed her chicken dish, and our son enjoyed his halibut. His girlfriend enjoyed his steak, but didn’t care for the sauce, which resembled the same sauce that was in my cioppino. The staff was wonderful and our service is excellent. Disappointed
