Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    Our server Tanya was warm and genuine, recommended several items, including the halibut with beets which was delicious. Amber the manager was also attentive and checked in on us. We were seated quickly. Drinks were at the table in less than 10 min and apps and entrees were well paced too. Thanks for a nice experience.

    Wait staff were delightful and attentive. Many GF options (without even trying) and our server was great and checked with chefs to confirm if flour was in dishes. Kitchen was on it! My salmon was cooked perfectly, with the best mild crunch from the sear and the apricot glaze it was chefs kiss! Def going to be back.

    Always like the Coastal Kitchen. This is the first time I walked away thinking it was so-so. Likely from what I ordered. Maybe the drizzly weather was a factor in my mood because I have previously gone on beautiful sunny days. I ordered the glazed rotisserie chicken and broccoli Parmesan. The chicken was just not special. I found the Parmesan a bit strong for my taste buds and would have preferred the broccoli with out it. My son on the other hand ordered the rib eye and was very happy with it. He also ordered to rolls which he devoured. I will definitely be back, but will steer clear of the chicken.
