   First time going here with my wife. Overall the food was good, a bit limited on options, and pricier. But overall it was good. I would eat here again, too expensive to be a regular visit but is alright for the odd date night out.

   Our first time at this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Our steaks were great and we are fussy. The bar tender made a great Old Fashion, the service was wonderful.

   Food was good and steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, but scallops were very overdone and tasteless. The portions were very small, served on an huge plate which made your portion look even smaller. The food was not a good value for the very high prices they charge. Service was terrible and atmosphere was awful. We saw our drinks sitting on the bar and the waitress stood in front of the drinks and also walked by them four times doing other things before delivering our drinks to our table which was only five feet from the bar. I almost got up and picked up the drinks myself. We felt like we were sitting on a freeway with the help flying by our table in a narrow hallway. We have been here before and rated it 5 stars, but this place used to be in a nice grand room with wonderful ambiance and now they have moved to a narrow corner of the lobby extension to the hotel. It was very disappointing and we will not be returning.

   Everytime I am in town “Steakhouse” is my only stop. Incredible food options , incredible wine and beverages and phenomenal staff. There is so much character and passion at this restaurant and a true testament to ownership that truly welcome you and offer a great dining experience.

   No waiting, prompt, polite service. Food was delicious. Somewhat pricey wine list but evening was worth it for occasion.

   The food and service has always been fantastic! The only complaint is the type and level of noise from the music that’s played. For the type of restaurant that is is, which is outstanding, it would be nicer to have more mood music played so you could talk with less noise.

   Easily the best Steakhouse between Vancouver and Calgary. The steaks are world class and the service and atmosphere unmatched anywhere in the Kootenays. Prices may appear to be high but if you go to a Keg or any other good steakhouse you will realize that the prices are very competitive. Best place for a dinner date.

   Really good food and great service! A bit pricey and the music was too loud! We asked to have it turned down but our waitress said they weren’t allowed to!
