Croissant trío was fabulous. However, service was slow. I had to get up to ask for a refill on our drinks. I had the shrimp and “grits”, and the shrimp were severely over cooked, the polenta was super salty (I love salt), and the cream sauce was separated. Really wanted to love this place based on the reviews. 😔

Excellent brunch service and food was delicious. Mimosa good and sorghum bruschetta really nice with cheese spread,jam, sorghum butter. Roasted potatoes I would get again as my side for over easy eggs.

I’ve been to those experiences over food restaurants before and this was that. The server was super nice and sweet, but I mean I paid over $170 for two meals and drinks. The menu is tiny, but not as tiny as the portions and actual venue. I made reservations for a date night and they didn’t even have a table ready for us at the time, then they sat us with another couple (that wasn’t with us) at a table with the only thing in between us was a single chair. Overall, I would never go back but it’s not the worst place I’ve ever been.

The Valentines day tasting menu was amazing! The portions were a little on the small side at first glance, but the meal as a whole (four courses) was the perfect size. We both opted for the NY strip entree, but there was also a scallop option. Each course was easily a 4.5-5/5. Common Ground has a small, cozy atmosphere. It was pretty quiet, but we were also there late afternoon, well before the dinner rush started due to an event we were attending later. The setting is casual with a hint of fine dining, but that might also be from the Valentines Day ambiance.

Great as usual, from walking in, to us leaving. Even though the CG staff, was made up of different employees from the ones on our previous visits, we still had the same great service. "Making our meal even better 😋!" WE LOVE MAKING THE 'COMMON GROUND' OUR "COMMON GROUNDS" FOR EATING SUNDAY BRUNCH. 👍🏼🤷🏼. A++

Loved it - the Carrot Cake French Toast was a must and the service and space was wonderful. Looking forward to going back!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday brunch. We were the first ones there at 10am, met by friendly and helpful staff (thanks, Jack!). My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits and I had the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and so filling! The ambience, food, service, and prices were all 10/10. We will definitely be returning here many times — my new favourite Nashville brunch spot!
