The cheese portions were small and the cheapest bottle of wine we could find was £38.

Service was less than poor, slow, incorrect drinks and food, no one ever looked over to see if we wanted more drinks. Had to get up a few times to order more drinks as everyone seemed to avoid taking any notice of us. Tried asking for some advice from the waiter but got a shocked look back. I last went here before covid and it was fabulous and everyone knew their wine and there was a sommelier, didnt see one when we visited. Its now feels like its turned into a bland and corporate chain bar where they happen to have a few nice wines rather than the cosy and classy french wine bar it once was. I won't be going back

My go-to café in the West End - tucked away, relaxed and friendly.

I love this place. It’s a little gem, just off the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. A getaway to quaff gorgeous wine and snack of fabulous cheeses. Just a little slice of heaven in your hectic day.

I normally do not check the bills but once the ‘sommelier’ came with the bill without showing the bill to the clients and just asking whether we are splitting or not made me suspicious. And once I checked the wine the bill the wine we ordered £10 more expensice than what was written down on the menu. So he had to fix this. So check the bill, especially if you are being kicked out of the bar cause it is closing time. We ordered 3 cheese. They brought the edge of the hard gouda which was not possible to eat. I serve way better food and wine than this touristic wine bar. The wine suggestion of the ‘sommelier’ was also really bad. He said that the wine would be body but it was just a juice. If that is a body wine, the Cabernet Franc on the menu costing £52 should be £152 lol!

My favourite wine place in London, if not in the whole entire Europe. :)
