   Have been here a few times however this time and it has always been really good but this time was not as good as we ordered chicken in black bean sauce but the sauce was more like a gravy including the colour and taste with a few black beans not good, our other dishes were very nice .the restaurant only had a couple of tables in that night but as soon as we had finished a dish the plates one by one were rushed away which maded the whole meal feeling like you are being rushed out the door not relaxing

   The food was tasty with prompt, polite service. It was reasonable & good value for money. Confusions is well situated near Chichester Cross. I would thoroughly recommend.

   A small restaurant but with a big personality......fantastic food and service. Never been before but will definitely be going back with family. We went with some friends and they to were impressed. One of them was vegan and had the mock duck, we all tried and was amazed with it. Thank you for the lovely evening.!

   I have lived about 3 minutes away from Confucius for 14 years and yet had never been there! The food was delicious, the entire staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. All the other diners seemed very happy from what I could see! I will certainly come back soon, and can only regret all the wasted years I have lived in Chichester with Confucius on my doorstep.

   The food was generally ok. The drinks options were poor. The restaurant itself is very dated and at least needs some fresh paint. Half a duck for the pancakes was expensive (£25) and then didn’t come with enough cucumber etc., and when we asked for more, we were charged more. We were also charged for plastic containers to take food away with us. We won’t be going back.

   Eaten here many times, and it's always been 5 stars. Saturday started well, but there was a fracas when a starter dish was put on our table, and then whipped away, whilst a loud argument took place between staff. We felt that they had overcommitted to take aways, and small things like a ridiculously small dish of plum sauce for 12 pancakes were happening. We felt the food was was just 'less good'. My wife and I KNOW how good this restaurant is. Our friends who had not been there before do not. Certainly the 'row' was awkward and unprofessional. Sad really. At £35 per head, this shouldn't have happened.
