   The restaurant wa CLOSED - why were they and OpenTable accepting reservations. Complete BS.

   Upon arrival, on time for our reservation, the waitress requested we wait for a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, the manager arrived to inform us that he won’t be allowing the reservation as he is understaffed. Hence we were told to either wait an additional 45 minutes or leave. With no apologies from the manager, we left. Frustrated that we had a reservation, the restaurant had plenty of open tables, and after being there for close to 30 minutes, we left with no seating

   We made reservations, got there on time but when we arrived they told us they wouldn’t receive us because they were short of waiters. Can’t restaurants send messages so you can make other plans? It was very difficult to find a place that would take a party of 4 for dinner. I travel with a person that needs special care due to fragile health conditions. He gets tired easily and we can’t be walking around or wait for long standing up. That’s why I make dinner plans, so he can travel with ease.

   It was very good. The food was excellent and it was a very cool indoor outdoor feel and had an open kitchen concept that we liked a lot.

   We arrived with a reservation on Christmas eve for dinner; the only reservation we could make at the last minute as everything else was booked solid. To their defense, it was Christmas Eve. When we arrived, I remembered that I had eaten breakfast there once when the hotel was brand new. The breakfast was small and all I remembered was that they only served me one piece of toast. There was a couple with no reservation ahead of us in line and they were seated first at a table for four after drying it off. Part of the restaurant is not covered in the central patio and it had rained early. The manager, found us a wet table for six people with wet cushions and chairs, lightly drying the table and chairs. The chairs remained wet enough to wet our clothes. The drinks were good. The appetizers did not arrive until we asked for them a second time about 30 minutes after the drinks arrived and the manager claimed that we didn't order appetizers. We told him that we did and reminded him that we watched him write them down on the back of a receipt paper at the table. I wondered if the paper got wet and he couldn't read it. It looks like he placed the order for the appetizers then because they arrived about another half an hour later. The shrimp ceviche was tasty but the malanga chips were what was left at the bottom of the bag because they were tiny. We had to use our forks to scope it to our appetizer's plate as no spoon was provided. The tiny burrata salad was good. The Milanese was tasteless. Looks like the plate sat at the kitchen a while while they made our forgotten appetizers because the scant cheese on top was solid on top of the scant sauce. The grouper of my dinning companion was overcooked. The fries were good. We flagged the manager down to get a second round of drinks, drank them while discussing to remember never to go back. The manager apologized because they were short staffed and I gave them a 30% tip because they were working on Christmas Eve.

    Food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly. We dinned with a reservation on Xmas eve, and the service was mediocre. The employees were very nice but they were short staffed. Management needs to hire more help. I felt sorry for the staff.
