Over the decades Continental Treat Fine Bistro has become the premier choice for anniversaries, birthdays, romantic dinners, wedding receptions and business dinners. Our culinary teams are working tirelessly on our innovative gluten free menu, while keeping the distinctive, traditional flavour of our most popular European dishes. To enjoy with your meal, we have an extensive stock of sumptuous wines, fine European beers, rare spirits and even small batch, nearly impossible to find Trappist ales.

The menu reflects a central and eastern European influence with the tastes of Poland, Germany, Hungary and Austria all amazingly and deliciously Gluten-Free.

-Reservations are always recommended for the best experience possible.
-Parties of 8 or more require a call to the restaurant and will require a deposit to secure the reservation
-Your large party will also be subject to an automatic gratuity of 18%

My friends and I had such a great evening. Continental treat is a gem in our city. The food was amazing and the band, Shelley Jones and her trio were fantastic. We were singing along to many of the songs. We all said we’ll definitely be back again.

Wonderful food and a beautiful setting. The gluten free food tastes terrific and was plated in style. The servers were very helpful and our order was correct. Only suggestion was the service was a little slow.

First time to this restaurant. It was our 50th wedding anniversary. No special treatment from them other than a small chalk board behind our booth. My schnitzel was a bit overdone. My wife’s chicken was a bit on the tuff side. My mashed potato’s were cold. Found the restaurant ambiance too commercialized.( Previously was Hardware Grill wasn’t changed much to make it the continental treat.) This location isn’t quaint as their 82ave location. Drinks found expensive. Service was mediocre. Will go to their 82ave location but not this one.

We ordered off the pre-theatre menu and it was a good deal. All of the dishes were excellent and the service was attentive without hovering. A nice touch to have the string quartet playing in the background. A special evening for a special occasion.

We went for my Dads Birthday. The table was ready when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. The staff were very friendly and prompt. All the food was cooked to perfection. Fresh and full of flavour. The ambiance was great, the violin quartet was playing, it was the perfect volume. Loud enough we could hear but quiet enough we could still have a conversation. We had a wonderful dinner with our family. We will be back!
