Convivo is a Santa Barbara restaurant and bar with an Italian soul. Chef-Owner Peter McNee's food is best described as ‘Nomad Italian’. It strays from the standard or traditional Italian, sourcing inspiration from many other cultures’ cooking but its soul is thoroughly Italian. The ever-changing menu includes small plates, housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, rotisserie chicken, fresh seafood and steaks served family-style. McNee’s all-star supplier network provides the freshest produce and local seafood the region is famous for.

Inspired by the bounty of the sea, the lush farms and abundant vineyards nearby and the cooking methods of Italy, Convivo is a festive gathering place for locals and visitors alike inside the newly-restored Santa Barbara Inn.

Great hotel Italian restaurant. Got to try the fungi pizza and the lemon ricotta raviolis. The lemon tart was exceptional. They'll even make you an aperol Spritz if you ask. Don't miss the warm up by the fireplace outside the lobby before going in. Ask for Juan and he'll bring you whatever you'd like out on the fireplace patio

Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Pizza was great and special seasonal fish entree was shared among three of us. Fish was spectacular. Great wine list too. Service was excellent. Very beautiful restaurant interior and outdoor patio spectacular (we had breakfast on the patio the next morning). Best restaurant breakfast- food was very fresh and well-prepared.

Great food, service and value! It has been one of our regular dining go-to’s since they opened. They are great for brunch-lunch and dinner.

It was a slow week-day night when we visited. We were seated near a loud wedding party of some kind-not the best. The restaurant was vary nicely designed and scrupulously tidy. Service by Isabella was outstanding. Food was good. Lot guys were friendly and did a good job. We will return, probably with a larger party (and on a warmer evening).

Amazing service and food. They gave us a table to view the beautiful ocean across the road. Homemade pasta and awesome foccahia bread.

We had a few friends join us for our anniversary dinner at Convivo and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing, do try the Octopus, our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and expedient, the drinks were delicious, especially the MojoJojo, and Convivo is right across the street from the ocean. Really enjoyed it!

We both ordered the halibut. Mine was flavorful but unfortunately overcooked. My friends halibut was moist. Tuna appetizer was delicious Service excellent

Never disappoints. If have one meal in SB then this is where we go. The flavors are amazing. The persimmon pizza and chopped salad and Brussels sprouts amazing!
