Took my friend to Coopers Hawk in New Lenox for her birthday lunch. Our server, Christina, was attentive and pleasant. My friend had the parmesan chicken which she enjoyed. I had the pork chop. I never order pork chops at a restaurant but decided to try it and I'm so glad I did. It was delicious and would highly recommend it. My friend also got a free dessert treat for her birthday....how nice is that!

Server was very attentive but pace of food served was way too fast. Our appetizer and salads were brought to the table at the same time even though we asked for the appetizer first. Dinner was brought shortly there after so we were not finished with the appetizer nor salad - we were seated at a small booth which was not large enough to accommodate all those plates at once.

We had made reservations on Open table. They I wanted to seat us in the bar. When I asked for the dining room they gave us a small booth. When I asked for a larger booth they stated there would be a wait even though restaurant had many open booths. When finally seated. I ordered salmon well done. It was pretty raw. Thinking of cancelling our membership which we’ve had since the opening. 18 years. Many better dining opportunities elsewhere.

I've been going to Coopers forever and always get the same dish. The dish at New Lenox vs BurRidge and Downers Grove was almost half the size, a little disappointed, taste was there but portion was small.
