As out-of-towners we booked Copinette for Thanksgiving dinner based on good reviews and a menu we liked. It was a fantastic experience. Despite being extremely busy they coped admirably. Service was good and the food delicious. Being extremely full by dessert time I had not intended to eat all of the warm pecan pie - but I could not bring myself to leave any on the plate! Only feeling of sadness is that this is not my local restaurant.

I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it but their Thanksgiving offerings were terrible. Extremely small portions of poor to mediocre food.

Very disappointing Thanksgiving meal, especially since we were eating early in the afternoon and expected much more. The turkey meal served wouldn't measure up to an after Thanksgiving meal at home. The turkey was chopped up and mixed in gravy served over cranberry sauce. Much too early in the day for them to be running out of turkey meat. The scallop appetizer was rather good and the service was excellent. All three desserts offered were not special.

We really enjoyed our prix-fixe lunch today. I enjoyed the arugula salad and my husband loved the crab cake. We both had the branzino and the peach melba. We hope to come back soon.

The restaurant is wonderful, offering multiple seating options. We made a reservation, but apparently, the restaurant had an event inside, which meant the main dining area could not be utilized. We were offered a table upstairs (the last one they had available) or to be seated outside. It's November in NYC, so sitting outside isn't a realistic choice. Upstairs was okay, but it was very loud and a bit distracting. Hard to hear the person I was with. I wish they would have communicated limited seating options to use when we booked a table and made the reservation. They came around with bread, but we weren't offered more. It would have been nice to have the option. We were celebrating a birthday, and we listed this on the reservation. It would have been nice for them to acknowledge it, even just verbally. They didn't even wish us a Happy Birthday, which was disappointing. The food was good, but nothing special, and it did not blow us away. We ordered dessert and stressed we had a nut allergy; the cookie dessert looked like it had crushed nuts on it. The waitress took it away, and by the time they found out the answer, the ice cream had melted, and the cookie wasn't warm. I had to ask for more water. Overall, it felt like the service was poor, and they thought the event was all that mattered.

My chicken Francese seemed to be a new item on the menu, and it was delicious, as was my wife's branzino. The tuna tartare we shared for an appetizer was also excellent. My peach melba topped off a very enjoyable meal.

They honored our request for our special table. The staff are all wonderful- friendly and their services great. The food- appetizers and main courses were all tasty and filling! The cocktails were very well prepared and the wines were great. Topped off with delicious deserts made it a great evening. We will be back next week!
