   i’ve eaten there multiple times. Christmas decoration is beautiful both in the main dining room and in the garden room. Once again, service and food was excellent. Very good cocktails. We were there on wine Wednesday, where House wines are discounted. Similar discount on tap Thursday for beer on tap. Highly recommended.

   Overall, the server ruined our experience. When we first walked in, for our 7:45p res., we were impressed w/the atmosphere, decor & something smelled delicious! The server was not overly friendly but she was ok initially. However, she became very pushy about us ordering, seemed she was in a hurry to get us out of there. Our group hadn't been together in a year so we were having great conversation & cocktails.I noticed the place was only about 1/3 full, so this wasn't about turning tables on a busy night. When we ordered and received our food, we had to stop her to order more drinks & she made a face. She offered no dessert, so we had to make that request too, further, annoying her. We didn't dare ask for coffee/drinks. When she laid down the dessert she told us "the doors close at 10:00p" & turned to leave. We were told this @ 9:55p -sternly I might add. We stopped her and asked "are you telling us we have to leave in 5 minutes"? She said"yes" walked away... we were all taken aback by her, her tone & dismissiveness. She removed our receipts that she had given prior to dessert arrival, but it was on our tickets, so we tipped & closed out. We required take out boxes & had to chase after them, a lady, whom appeared to be a supervisor, dropped them. We mentioned that our server had told us we had to leave. This person seemed taken aback by that.and said "you have time, no rush". However, the damage was done & we left quickly. Mgmt. should know that they lost out on additional revenue, but weren't given the opportunity.We aren't in a rush to go back. The service was def. the bigger problem but the food was mediocre- dry,cold & overcooked salmon, meatballs & that bacon jam looked very unappealing, but we all agreed it tasted better than it looked but not well enough to reorder. Obviously, not happy to write this, but how else can things improve? We all wished we could revise our tip (but didn't). Sadly, It will be awhile IF we return-NOT an enjoyable experience!!

   Food was acceptable, but not great. Brought one diner’s salad before entree as expected, but not two others. Drink service quality was very poor and slow. My Manhattan was a watered down unrecognizable mixture. Server said it was because it was shaken, not stirred. Unbelievable explanation. Seating was very comfortable for party of 6.

   beautifully decorated for Christmas. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Wine was excellent. Could not recommend this place enough. Fantastic experience. Would recommend for dining, brunch, or events.

   We had an amazing experience at Copper House! The food and drinks were incredible, and the staff were very personable and helpful. Overall the atmosphere had great vibes and was super trendy. We can’t wait to go back!

   Sitting in the bar room was much better as far as noise level. The spicy shrimp and grits was terrific. The apricot salmon was cooked well but the potato mash was very salty. Too salty to my liking and almost inedible. The bacon jam could use some texture. The bread that came along with the bacon jam was great.

   Amazing! We seemed to be on a long run of disappointment when trying new places the last year or two, but the streak is over! We grabbed a reservation for the Copper House a couple weeks in advance for dinner before a concert at the Ford Center, and we were absolutely blown away. One of the better steaks I’ve had in a couple years and was cooked perfectly. While typically not a huge fan of grits, the cheese grits and the Brussels sprouts were delicious! The Pasta my wife had was amazing as well. Service was top notch and I had to look over the check twice to make sure it was right.. most meals like this would cost nearly double at other similar places, and be nowhere near the quality of food. We will be back!

   Long wait time for food, despite not being very busy. Waitress made a couple minor mistakes on orders but fixed them. Food was delicious.

    Delicious, unique menu with the best grits we’ve ever had. My daughter had the salmon BLT and was outstanding as well. Neat ambiance and great service. We will be back next time we visit Evansville!
