In a two-story residence in the Garden District that dates back to the 1880s, the elegant dining rooms are lined with brick and chandeliers.     Best food I’ve had in years. So well balanced. Started with the oysters and a light salad. Nothing overdone, salad light and refreshing, oysters and house made cocktail sauce perfect. We had the scallops and steak frites. Both perfect. Best of all, the deserts were perfectly sized. Just enough to top off the meal. Both the chocolate torte and carrot cake were great, but the carrot cake with the layers of flavors was so inspired. Light whipped cream on top, spicy carrot cake, salt on a base of more whipped cream, and a satsuma glaze on the bottom. Thank you for a wonderful last night in New Orleans.

    We sat at the bar for dinner, and both bartenders were very nice and knowledgeable. Great food, incredible wine recommendation from the somm.

    Ideal neighborhood spot - I wish I had a cool spot like this in my neighborhood, but it has the service and culinary chops to punch way above the neighborhood spot weight class. Food was delicious, gracious service and a warmth to the ambiance. We very much enjoyed our night there.

    Smoked trout roe carmelized onion dip - outstanding, I could eat this every day. My second time ordering and it never disappoints. crab Maison - comforting and delish, can’t go wrong Shrimp chirrata - delicious but spicy be warned Fried boudin and corn grits - just do it, so savory and good. Bread service - I will go back just for the bread service, some of the best bites of my life. Great service, great atmosphere. We always enjoy ourselves here !!

    This was our first time going to coquette. Everything was great. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The drinks were good just an overall outstanding experience. We will definitely be back.
