Cork & Gabel, a restaurant fusion of Irish, Italian, and German cuisine, opened in 2018 in Detroit's Corktown district. We are known for our use of modern techniques on old school classics. European comfort food is a staple at Cork & Gabel. We pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen, sourcing and using Michigan vendors including farmers and small business. Fresh is key when it comes to providing a great experience and we make everything we can fresh and in house.

    Kind of a fun place to go to. The owners. And bartenders are always there and so friendly. They have a nice beer list and wine list and no hesitation in recommending and describing the dishes. I had the German Doner sandwich. My girlfriend had the mushroom ravioli and loved it.

    C & G is, simply, the one constant we can rely on for food in downtown Detroit! Excellent every time. Other places can't have that said about them. The special, arctic char I think it was, was just a live in the moment kind of deliciousness! It was so good that time stopped!

    Phenomenal restaurant with truly amazing drinks. The owner and chef came out to introduce themselves and everything. Great place! Will definitely be back!!!

    The food was delicious! The live music was also very good, but far too loud. We came to eat and for good conversation. The sound of the musician over powered discussion and made it hard to hear the waiter at times.

    Love the brunch service at C&G!! Took my daughter’s for my birthday for their first time and they loved it too. Will definitely be back!!!

    Brought my team there for dinner. I had the scallops and they were very tender and good. Others ordered the schnitzel blt and they loved it. Bonus, it’s right in front of the train station which was lit up at night. We’ll be back.
