   The Cork and Pig in San Angelo no longer accepts Open Table reservations. We showed them our confirmations and they worked us in quickly even though they were VERY busy. Call them to reserve, don’t count on an Open Table reservation. We appreciate the effort they made to help us. Wait staff was very attentive. It was loud in the restaurant, too loud for any conversations at our table.

   Our visit to Cork & Pig was a very pleasant experience. Our waitress was very attentive and our food was served quickly and all the dishes were delicious.

   Horrible experience. Ordered 4 bottles of wine from the list, they were sold out of each one. Ordered Chopin vodka, sold out of it, as expected. The fruit flies were swarming our table the whole time, the mgt just agreed with the nat problem and walked away. Had over 4 dead nats on our table from our own search and destroy mission to clear the bugs out of our table just to try to eat the food. Was it (nats) that bad in the food prep area....? Got a entre salad and no dressing-sent it back and never to be seen again. did not want to know that answer. Ordered a filet med, came out rare, sent it back-came back microwaved possibly and med rare. The server was not trained on what basic brands of vodka, scotch, rum, etc., only to be told by another mgr-he didn't know the wines anyway, he just started 3 weeks ago... Saw the food runners take out food to every table, but no one followed up to see how it was. We had to flag down our server (who should not been allowed to take tables in the first place) over 6 times. How embarrassing! Our bill came and was wrong. only to be dropped off again with the balance due, not the detail receipt.

   Service has been so bad every time we go but we love the food and drinks. The servers just disappear for 10-15 minutes every time and we have to grab someone to help us.

    Good food, good service. Fairly loud environment. I would recommend this place for a larger group. Too loud for a date… but overall a decent experience.
