   The service was terrible I appreciate that a Saturday evening can be very busy but surely a simple “sorry for the wait “ would suffice the thing I found most disappointing was the fact my table was sticky and not very clean when I told the waitress she just wiped it over with a damp cloth no cleaning product was used I noticed that none of the tables were cleaned between services surely this should be basic practice of hygiene I am a regular customer at your Blackheath Cote and have never had a bad experience in many years.Perhaps your staff would benefit from training in basic food hygiene and hospitality courses

   We had the Menu Prixe and for me it just wasn't enough, my wife was okay though. But we bought a cheap meal that was very tasty, so we left happy.

   Very warm, polite and friendly welcome. Mussels were good and fries complimented nicely. Kids starters and burgers nicely made and kids seem to enjoy it Efficient service

   We’re 4 people.We order the different kinds of steak and pork belly. It is delicious but not feel suprised. We ordered the bottle of wine, the total price include the service charge is 134 pounds

   Service was a bit disjointed and slow. We were going to the Theatre Royal afterwards and it all became a bit of a rush, which could have been avoided!

   The food and service are always good but I had the fish parmentier and it came in tiny tapas dish at a cost of £18.50 - this did not feel like value for money - it should have been in a lasagne size dish

   Friendly and welcoming service, mussels cooked well and tasted nice, kids burgers were also nicely prepared. seafood dish was okay but lack flavour. overall great place and nice ambience

    New Years Eve,really nice meal,ambience and great value. It was packed but the service was brilliant,our waitress (sadly didn’t get her name) was fantastic,young lady with a ponytail. Highly recommend,
