   Usually love Côte last night they were short staffed and fully booked so service was sporadic, food over microwaved and staff harassed. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir which took half an hour to come and three separate prompts they eventually gave us what looked like sherry glasses as they’re run out of red wine glasses. The Camembert starter was like a rubber doormat the calamari are covered in batter way too much and very greasy the beetroot starter was the nicest. The salmon bearnaise main was overcooked and came with chips and getting a refill on water was almost impossible given how harassed the staff were. All in all a really disappointing meal and we are big fans of Côte and their lovely staff who were still lovely but unfairly pressured.

   good menus fixed or a la carte, food good & price points competitive. Service friendly but bit slow at times.

   Waitress was very nice but for our order completely wrong. Slow service. Disappointing for Cote.

   Although it was a Monday lunchtime the restaurant had plenty of visitors and a lovely atmosphere

   Overall good- we were at a table right by the door so a bit cold. Service was excellent.

   We went here for my sons 12th birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were so friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was really good, the kids menu especially was great value. Would definitely go back.

   I was really disappointed with the half chicken dish from the main menu. It used to be much better, it came with a little green beans/side salad/garnish. Now there are a few wilted parsley sprigs. For £20 I think that’s over priced. I also think the mains on the children’s menu are not healthy.

   It was my son's birthday, and the table was decorated and a birthday card was waiting for him. His desert was offered, as well as a bottle of cremant due to the waiting time to get our food.

    The waiter was very good however there were not enough staff..we waited almost an hour to place an order which is silly. We did not get our mains for an hour a half (we were sat at 6.00pm but food did not arrive until 7.30pm). There was also a family next to us whom played children’s videos with the volume turned up and it was just bizarre experience! Great value but clearly not enough staff or kitchen staff to service the guests.
