   The Country Living Magazine recommendation certainly didn’t disappoint. What an absolute gem. We had a superb evening. Faultless. The food was exceptional. Wine selection extensive. Service was fabulous. I would come back to Chester purely to revisit Covino!

   We’ve been wanting to try Covino since we moved to Chester almost 3 years ago and can’t believe we left it so long. Great service, good quality ingredients cooked expertly and all the dishes we tried were delicious. The wine also was really good . We we definitely be putting Covino on our rotation of great places to eat in Chester

   Photographs on website misleading, was not expecting such a small and canteen like venue. It felt crowded and uncomfortable. T The food was average and it was disappointing to have to order bread separately. The wine was very nice and the service was excellent Overall I thought the food very overpriced I would not recommend or return to the restaurant.

   Another excellent meal at this fantastic restaurant, you can always rely on George to deliver outstanding dishes and this time our favourite was the monkfish tail with peppercorn sauce and beetroot. Becky as always came up with a delightful wine going this time for an excellent Albariño
