The restaurant is completely outside. Only the kitchen is inside. The people are very nice and there were heaters outside, but it was a cold night as it’s typical in Del Mar and the seating was not comfortable. Food was fine, but nothing great. I wouldn’t go again. There are better choices.

Went two nights in a row: once with friends and then solo. Both times were wonderful. Great ambience, service and food. Highly recommend

The atmosphere, service and food were all wonderful. Casual dining experience. We ate curbside, the weather was perfect but they also have heaters. Service was great! We enjoyed our meal and conversation without feeling rushed or bothered. The food was amazing. I was driving and didn’t to try the wine but the options looks good. Very much looking forward to returning. I came with two friends and it was perfect. This would also be good for a date

Our food was cold. The steak was supposed to be filet mignon but it was not. It was chewy and tough. The lamb again was chewy. The octopus smelled fishy. We have eaten alot of peruvian food both in the US and in Peru, this was very disappointing.

We had five people at 6:30 on Tuesday night of Breeders Cup week, so they had a nice crowd of locals and out-of-towners. It was very nicely lit and the eclectic music provided by the duet added to a wonderful ambience. I think they were named Big Boss Bubuleh, and they were the perfect volume for the small space. The food was delicious - octopus appetizer, lamb stew, lobster ravioli, pork belly, and the filet - and was served timely and hot. They were busy, but the servers did a good job on timing and pace. We all agreed we'd come back again!

The lomo Saltado was not very authentic. Very wet, no flavorful and the meat was very grizzly. The rice was not the right type either- it was Mediterranean rice.

The food is great, the service is excellent, the place is very casual but overall the prices are worth every penny you pay for. Excellent food flavors. I loved the place and definitely recommend it and would return to it without a doubt.

Surprisingly ‘pedestrian’ and just generallg underwhelmed with the food and ambience. Suited for quick bite or for a group of friends to grab drinks after the beach rather than a proper sit down dinner.

Interesting place. Lomas Saltado great, seafood so so. Rice as sides always good. If you get put under the roof away from the main sidewalk tables the noise level is like a soccer stadium and ruins the evening. If the place is busy service breaks down. Good place once a year but no more

While we appreciated the kindness of our server and the beauty of the establishment, we were disappointed to find that the menu only had a few dishes labeled as "Peruvian" food. I brought my husband and his family who are from Peru and myself who have been cooking and enjoying homemade, Peruvian food for over a decade, would like to say..while the dishes we ordered may have looked like a “Peruvian” dish, they did not have the authentic taste and flavors that we were expecting. We appreciate the effort put into the food, but for my Peruvian fam looking to dine on true Peruvian food, this may not be the best option. Thank you for considering our feedback.

Sorry for your experience, i understand you came with expectation to have authentic Peruvian flavors unfortunately we are fusion Peruvian cuisine which stands for huge changes to authentic flavors while keeping ingredients and names of dishes, That is our concept since 2 other owners hadn't make it long at that location with authentic Peruvian flavors and lower prices. Del Mar is just calling for something else so are the prices of the rent and also prices of dishes here. Thank you for understanding and if possible pls revise your scoring of that particular style to the cuisine. We never aspired to match any flavors, just create completely NEW ways of supporting and cultivating Peruvian culture. Pls apologize your family on our account as well.
