   Always a great experience in this pub - all staff are super friendly and the food is consistently good. They're really dog friendly too!

   We had the best evening at the cricketers. The quality of the food was outstanding. And the service we received made our evening even better,m. Angus looked after us and made our evening perfect. Thank you all. We will be back.

   Lovely food, good service. Our trains were cancelled so we were late and they changed the booking on the phone no problem. Nice pub with great food.

   We only met here for drinks really - it’s a lovely pub and very well situated. But at some point the munchies arrived and so we shared a few starters and they were great. The baked Brie with bread and the chicken wings were particular highlights.

   Great place , good food . Haphazard service but they were short staffed . Didn’t spoil the lunch as we could take our time .

    Only 5 of the 9 main courses were available. Only 3 out of 7 meat courses. They said it had been a busy week but this was Tuesday at 7pm. The server was polite and apologetic, and didn’t charge for our drinks, but we had to go elsewhere to eat. Not great.

We are having a particularly busy festive period and with a small storage fresh food kitchen we struggled to meet demand on this incredibly busy Tuesday.
