The Restaurant
Our main restaurant is modern with a lantern light ceiling which allows in plenty of natural light to flood in. A great piece of real architectural design. The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . This restaurant offers a modern ambiance an ideal place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy our mouthwatering local dishes.

The Inn
The Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.

The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.

The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

    The restaurant was very busy - it was Saturday night -and the tables are close together in their main restaurant - as a result it was a little difficult to hold a conversation. Whilst some staff serving were perfectly pleasant, one member of staff was very off-hand and could do with some additional training on making guests feel they were welcome rather than an irritation. Despite this the food was pleasant, although both meals had spent too much time keeping warm before serving, and were a little dried and crusty on the top. Good cooking slightly spoilt. We have eaten there regularly and usually it is much better - I think this was a night busier than was expected.

    After enjoying meals on Wednesday we decided to come back on Thursday and we weren’t disappointed the food was well cooked and plentiful As we were visiting the area for a few days we will definitely be calling in on our next visit

    Always perfect. Lovely welcome, attentive staff, fabulous food and nice surroundings. A regular favourite of ours, have been coming for years, and we appreciate the high standards that this restaurant retain.

    staff were nice, friendly atmosphere, chef needs a big pat on the back and a pay rise. Dr Cooper and friends would highly recommend.

    Unfortunately this is the only pub nearby, we booked for 6.15 we were ten minutes late due to weather, the bar man mark was extremely rude in front of other diners, he said “ you’re late so you need to order as soon as you can” and walked away he didn’t say it discreetly it was embarrassing and it’s a shame because over the weekend of staying at little acre caravan site we spent quite a lot of money at that pub and don’t expect to be treated like that unfortunately because of this we will no longer stay at the local site all because of this pub, being the only pub within walking distance

    This is by far the most stunning food we have ever had. Absolutely gorgeous starter and main- cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Generous portions and amazing taste. Highly recommended, the chef here is top notch!
