   Was expecting a nice experience as the restaurant from the outside looks promising. That was dashed immediately. Not sure what the seating concept is supposed to be. They seem to have a mish mosh of everything and guess what? Why bother with having preferences in writing on open table if they are just going to be ignored? Yet again, another restaurant where the host does not read the notes and put us right in the middle of the floor, which is our most hated seating position. It just got worse from there, the drinks are not well balanced. They are very spirit forward and harsh. Ok if you like that sort of thing but they are pricey for not being well crafted. We had the Octopus as an appetizer and it was literally bathed in salt. A shame, because it was cooked well, but could not be enjoyed. Then I had the boar ravioli, which all you could discern was, you guessed it-salt. Finally my wife had the halibut but it was just too salty so it had to be sent back. She waited 20 minutes to get a new one. She had to sit there and watch me eat and then I had to sit and watch her eat. You would think the manager would come out and apologize and send something out in the interim or just comp something, but he never showed his face. The overall feel of the place is that the staff seems to be haphazard and slow which all comes down to management. With all the competition in the hospitality business, especially at this price point, you don't have second chances to make a good first impression. They don't seem to care -that is my first impression and last impression as I will not be returning

   This is the second time we’ve had Skyler as our waiter and he was great! Plus the food was incredible like always

   Food was amazing here. The ambiance is nice, it’s a little loud in the restaurant but was very pleasant overall experience. Sommelier was top notch. Halibut was cooked perfectly, tagliatelle had great flavor, and the wine was perfect.

   The food was overly salty, and the bread with oil and vinegar was….not good. Our waiter was sweet and wonderful though!

   Service while nice was quite slow. It took a long time to receive our drinks whenever we ordered them. We had dined there about 6 months prior and enjoyed the food more then. This time the pasta sauces were either too rich, heavy, and over sauced or tasted canned. The breading on the butter chicken was soggy. The tiramisu was still great and the espresso martinis are some of the best I have had. Overall an ok experience but just remember it having been much better previously.

   This place is a hidden gem of Raleigh. There is not a single item on this menu that misses. The quality of service is exceptional, the staff personable and accommodating, the chefs artisans of their trade, and the bartenders mixologists welcoming of the challenge "make me something fun." If you are in the area and are judging where to go, this is the choice. Always.

   Went for brunch what an amazing experience the food was great our server Andrew was amazing ask for him if you go I think he made the experience even nicer
