Cucina Caprese is a restaurant that uses traditional Italian culinary techniques including il Forno a Legna –old style wood-fired oven– cooking. We use seasonal, local and organic ingredients as well as meats, cheeses and extra virgin olive oil(EVOO) imported from Italy.

I invited a friend who was highly skeptical when she pulled into the parking lot-the location is not in a nice area and the ambience is pretty lacking. Our waiter gave me a very weird vibe from the beginning. I could tell immediately that he was high on drugs-not marijuana but something stronger and his eyes were the first clue. Ok whatever just decided not to interact with him much. Daughter ordered the margherita per usual which she's gotten every single time we've been there. I wasn't actually very hungry so I didn't try any until she'd eaten most of it. This was highly unfortunate because it was awful when I tried a bite. Super doughy and undercooked not to mention the cheese was not good either. I was going to mention it but as she'd already eaten I knew there wasn't much point. I've worked in the biz and know the drill it just appears like you're looking for a free meal. my friend actually said something to our waiter. If I was going to mention it I wasn't planning to mention it to him due to his obvious state, my friend very nicely let him know the pizza had been undercooked. I knew exactly what he was going to say before the words even came out of his mouth. It's the same thing said at anywhere that serves 'Italian' pizza. It's a copout but also can be true-he looked at her like she doesn't know anything, slams his hand on the table and proceeds to take a seat at the table next to us redfaced, in all his drugged out glory. He says the dreaded words in Italy this is how pizza is made it's supposed to be thin.\nI said no we've been coming here for over 2 years and I've traveled Italy for the last decade of my life. This was our first time trying the place out. We mainly went because we prefer Neopolitan style pizza. We only ordered pizza and it was good. The only feedback I would give is that we sat on the side of the restaurant that houses the kitchen and the decor could use some work. The underside of the bar was not finished and there are some random paintings on the wall that are spaced oddly. A little work on the ambiance would go a long way.

I've been going to this place for over 2 years. I invited a friend who was highly skeptical when she pulled into the parking lot-the location is not in a nice area and the ambience is pretty lacking. I assured her the pizza was delicious and told her the owner is actually from Italy don't worry. How embarrassing for me when the dinner unfolded as it did. Our waiter gave me a very weird vibe from the beginning. I could tell immediately that he was high on drugs-not marijuana but something stronger and his eyes were the first clue. Ok whatever just decided not to interact with him much. Daughter ordered the margherita per usual which she's gotten every single time we've been there. I wasn't actually very hungry so I didn't try any until she'd eaten most of it. This was highly unfortunate because it was awful when I tried a bite. Super doughy and undercooked not to mention the cheese was not good either. I was going to mention it but as she'd already eaten I knew there wasn't much point. I've worked in the biz and know the drill it just appears like you're looking for a free meal. my friend actually said something to our waiter. If I was going to mention it I wasn't planning to mention it to him due to his obvious state, my friend very nicely let him know the pizza had been undercooked. I knew exactly what he was going to say before the words even came out of his mouth. It's the same thing said at anywhere that serves 'Italian' pizza. It's a copout but also can be true-he looked at her like she doesn't know anything, slams his hand on the table and proceeds to take a seat at the table next to us redfaced, in all his drugged out glory. He says the dreaded words in Italy this is how pizza is made it's supposed to be thin.
I said no we've been coming here for over 2 years and I've traveled Italy for the last decade of my life. This is not about a thin pizza, it's doughy and undercooked and flat out just isn't good. He then was shouting at us and very aggressive.
