I made a reservation for bar blitzen at 7pm, ensuring we would be anble to get food before they stopped serving. Upon check in, we were told they were running behind. After asking twice how much longer it would be, we were finally seated in bar seats at 7:30. No tables opened for another 30 minutes afterward. There is apparently no time limit, even though they make reservations as such which left a bunch of people high and dry while tables who had been sitting for over 3 hours (as we were told by servers) continued to sit and chat without ordering anything. When you have to pay extra to enter that section in the first place, this is not the service you expect to receive. With no apology or attempt to make it right. Very disappointed

The food was great. The staff was absolutely amazing. They have great sense of humor and we’re very delightful to myself in my day. I’m glad we picked this place for our fourth date. I left a memorable experience for us.

If you get a chance go to this it is worth it the service was excellent and the food and drinks were great they put a lot of thought behind this concept and it really shows

I was expecting something a little bit more intimate for couples. It felt kind of odd and a waste of space to have two people sitting at a large round table. It would’ve been nice to have something activity going on in the room like maybe dual bartenders making some fun drinks together. The waitresses wearing some fun Christmas outfits. Maybe snow in the corner. (bubbles of course) it just wasn’t a very Christmasy experience besides the lights.

Great food with good prices but noise level was a little loud to enjoy a date night experience, also when ordering alcohol it would be nice to have the waitress or waiter offer water with like most restaurants.

Service was slow. Sat down for 2o minutes before we got any water. Waitress appeared about 10 minutes into the sit, we ordered appetizers which came out before our waters, mixed drinks took forever and my fries were cold with my meal. Talk about a bust for 4 pm on a Sunday with the place halfway full. Throw in a 441$ bill for the family Sunday dinner and left completely disappointed, shameful we won’t be back because this place was where I had my first date with my wife.

Cute design for the holidays I expected drinks to be expensive which they were but the six dollar cover per person was a lot. Two drinks ended up being over $50 with the cover charge.
