Cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was decidedly average and the service was appalling. We felt like they assumed we were tourists who would never return, there was no polite conversation or smile. The food was served without any chat, we had to ask for parmesan and pepper, and the table was cleared like it was a school dining hall. When we asked about dessert, we were given a verbal choice of 3 options, however when another waiter produced a menu there were actually several other choices - it was like they didn't want us there! This is not a cheap restaurant, I recommend walking along the Quay for a better experience.

We arrived from a recommendation. The restaurant was not busy at the time of arrive (6:30pm on a Tuesday). The younger chap was more friendly and tentative, an older gentleman was less so. Ordering tap water for the table was not a good thing, as they were just put into the table rather annoyed. But the younger chap quickly came over and helped too up the glasses. The menu was varied including a good children’s meal. The specials was expensive! We went for the Scallops and Tiger Prawns at £30 per dish. There was not a lot of pasta. But the size of the Tiger Prawns were good. The Scallops (two) were not stuck on the shell, but rather placed onto the shells… so little food, after £30 was hungry. A better choice would be the Seafood pasta £23. A lot more pasta and was actually great. The pizzas were very small! Not quite enough for a meal. The children’s meal was a generous portion and tasted good. In all, it was an “okay” experience in terms of food. Value - not great… and service was mixed.

Sadly our wedding anniversary was ruined. Abrupt staff, when we did eventually get served. We were made to seat ourselves and left with no menus for over 10minutes. Food was okay, but the whole thing was tarnished from initial start. Totally gutted as we had enjoyed our wedding meal here a year before but felt more of an inconvenience this time. We had put in the notes that it was our anniversary but no effort was made.

First class genuine Italian cuisine on the quay at Poole. Inside or outside tables. We have visited many times and will always go back

Met a friend for brunch. Food was delicious as was the coffee. Very nice service, great sense of humor at the bar, lovely atmosphere. We didn’t feel rushed despite it being a Saturday and the views are absolutely incredible. Reasonable price for testy brunch and coffee.

We’ve been before and loved it. We booked for our anniversary. When we arrived they asked if we had a booking, we did. They didn’t say hello, ignored us and walked off. They then looked behind us and asked the next in the queue and seated them. We waited an hour for our starter. They were far too busy. No charm. Food average. Poor service. We won't want to return

Staff could have been more attentive but they were friendly enough and the food was good, so overall a nice meal.
