Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Daniel's Broiler in Downtown Seattle offers a memorable dining experience with "top-notch service" and "fantastic food." The ambiance is elegant, perfect for special occasions. While the steaks and seafood are "delicious," some find the prices high and a 20% service charge surprising. Overall, a great spot for a "celebratory dinner."

I didn't like that I selected a steak and my server ordered the most expensive steak on the menu for me instead. It was also inconsistently cooked. Half medium well and half medium rare. I requested medium well. Will not be dining here again

I really liked my steak compared to the other Daniel’s broiler. I always go to the one in SLU. But the steak here tasted much better. However their limited menu took me aback . They had no vegetarian or vegan menu. My partner and I always go to the Daniel’s Broiler in SLU because he is vegan and they have a plant based menu he loves. We assumed it was the same here. Unfortunately they didn’t even have a vegetarian menu either. So he ended up just having a small plate of salad. We won’t be coming back for this reason.

First time there. Looks fabulous. Wait staff was super nice but inefficient. A lot of stuff didn’t make it to the table until it was asked for. We even dropped the sides as they never came out. To me the scallops appetizer was too charred for my taste. The entrees were nicely done. My husband loved his Delmonico. I enjoyed the King Salmon, that puppy melts in your mouth. For the price I have received much better elsewhere. I’d still say go ahead and try it. I could have been there on an off night.

Unforgettable! The first visit to Daniel's Broiler Downtown offered the best meal and the best service I have enjoyed in over six decades of living and travel. Rich aged wine paired beautifully with the bacon wrapped scallops and delectable crab legs with creamy hollandaise. The wagyu with lobster and baked potato was perfectly prepared and worth every penny. Loved the mushrooms and the perfect caesar salad. The chocolate decadence and a Beautiful were perfectly delicious for dessert. Flawlessly prepared food, inspired presentation, and our knowledgeable server offered perfect service while honoring our party with privacy and discretion, never interrupted us, and had a beautiful smile and gracious and generous disposition. The service fee was fair for the service level offered, and our server merited a generous tip. Thank you Daniel's Broiler Downtown. You surpassed all expectations!

The wagyu steak was not worth the price. The texture was off, I could taste dirty grill, and there wasn’t that taste of fat marbling throughout the steak. The ribeye and filet were under salted. The crab topping on the ribeye was a mistake. It had a sweet taste that didn’t work with the savory flavor of the steak. The service was wonderful. I think it was Nikki. She knew the menu well and checked in at the right times. At that price point the meat flavor should be top knotch. That was a lot of money for us and we have both had better home cooked $45 ribeyes. Sorry for the harsh review. My wife and I are foodies and really look forward to excellent flavors, no matter the price. Thanks.

The entire experience was lovely, but there were issues. My lamb was perfect, however, my husband was not overly impressed with the wyagu filet mignon. He did greatly enjoy the buttercake dessert.

Excellent place to go for a nice dinner, drink, or whatever it may be. Due to location near the convention center I had been a couple times for happy hour in their piano bar area, but came in for their Thanksgiving buffet. Service is excellent. Price for the buffet was fair, however each time I went up there would be many items needing refresh. Stuffing was extremely dry and didn’t get changed out while I was there. Everything overall tasted great. Their steaks are more on the spendy side, but they are delicious

Overall, a great experience with very good ambiance and great food. This was particularly true for Thankgiving where a buffet offered many different choices.

A++ quality overall meal, atmosphere and staff. The manager visited our table to smile and check on us. We were offered a to go bag without asking and were greeted with a nice welcome upon entering and a holiday greeting as we departed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family visiting Seattle!
