   Hidden gem of DC! What a great experience we had trying out Darvish Kitchen. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is a fan of Persian food or looking for something new to try. Food: Traditional and unpretentious. No silly fusion style food, just solid (and elevated) Persian food. Would recommend the Mahiche and Gormeh Sabzi for mains. Portions were very generous and presentation was very nice. Service: friendly and attentive! Our server was great and gave great recommendations of what to order. Decor: Maximalist look with cozy, upscale vibes very grounded in Persian culture and aesthetics. Tasteful and playful! Atmosphere: Lively and busy, like you’ve had family over for dinner.

   Is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to you in many many years the food was amazing. The weight staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t wait to go back and take my family.

   Darvish Restaurant is a true gem in DC, serving some of the most authentic Persian cuisine outside of Iran. As a Persian, I have high standards, and Darvish exceeds them. The kabobs are perfectly grilled, the stews rich and flavorful, and the tahdig irresistibly crispy. Every dish is crafted with care, capturing the essence of Persian cooking. The warm ambiance and exceptional service make you feel at home. Whether you’re craving a taste of Iran or trying Persian food for the first time, Darvish is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

   My friend and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Darvish. They were attentive and food was generously portions. It was nice having another option for a nice persian dinner.
