Located on the expansive grounds of the Water’s Edge Resort and Spa sits a beautiful restaurant with magnificent ocean views, Dattilo Fine Italian, the jewel of the Connecticut shoreline. The cuisine is fresh, creative and bold, with flavors reminiscent of old-world Italy. A rich authentic menu pairs with our extensive wine list features wines from across the globe. In addition to the seasonal menu Dattilo also offers nightly dining specials and themed dinners. Each Sunday we end the weekend with one of the finest Brunches in Connecticut featuring carving, pasta, crepe, and omelet stations. Sat right at time of reservation; no waiting. Portion sizes were large and everything was delicious. Star of the show was Tedey/Teddy (*sp) our waiter. Amazing personality, very knowledgable and was receptive to special requests. Waiter of the year!

We have been to Waters Edge for brunch many times over the years. The location is excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. We ate outside and the weather was outstanding. The one negative that lowered my rating from 5 to 4 (and it has always been a 5) was the lack of service after we were shown to our table. After getting coffee, the server never came back to offer refills or check on us. Never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Had to flag him down to get our check. Disappointing.

Our waiter Jay went above and beyond for every little detail to make this already beautiful experience a 10/10. Had the saffron mussels & squid ink stripe Lobster ravioli, highly recommended!!

We ordered the prime rib special. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was wonderful! We enjoyed the entire experience. We will be back!

Very fresh and delicious seafood options even though it is an italian restaurant. We could not help ourselves to order day’s special lobster tail once we heard about it. Oysters were good size. Scallops were paired with risotto and carrots, really tasty! Flourless chocolate cake was a great way to end the dinner. Great view, attentive service, i might only recommend to play a slow background music.

The overall experience was good. We would go again. A large buffet with many food choices to satisfy your cravings for breakfast or lunch food. The place was packed when we were there at noon. We had reservatuons ans I would not recommend trying to go without them.
