   We celebrated our anniversary at Davenport Press. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the host and immediately sat at our requested table by the cozy fireplace in the main room adorned with antiques and other fascinating memorabilia from the era of the structure's construction. Delicious fresh bread arrived immediately and set the tone for what was a memorable leisurely meal. The pork chop my partner ordered was meaty and deliciously prepared and seasoned. The Chicken Shitake I had was flavorful with the right amount of spice added to the succulent sauce. We didn't order dessert but we were given complimentary glasses of champagne and a beautifully illuminated slice of tiramisu to cap off our delightful afternoon. We wholeheartedly recommend this fine establishment to anyone looking for a taste of old warm charm, and hearty continental cuisine.

   A favorite local restaurant. Food and drinks are good. You are not rushed. Great place to meet friends and have a relaxing evening.

   As always everything was perfect. We sat at the bar before dinner and had some drinks. I honestly never had an issue. Thank you!

   The staff the food and the overall experience are always on point. We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated. Then the dining room filled quickly. So did the front room and the bar area. This is our go to restaurant and don’t always think to make a reservation but decided to use my Open Table account this time. So happy I did. If you have not been to The Davenport Press you are missing an opportunity for a great experience.

   We ordered the salmon and filet mignon and both were great. Rice Pudding and Boston Cream Cheesecake pie were also great. The waitress was super friendly and on her game. Pleasantly surprised by the Valentine’s Day experience.

   It was a terrific valentine's day evening. They gave out roses and candy to all the ladies . The service was excellent . They Had a great assortment on the Menu. An d the food was delicious. This was a great choice.

   The evening of Valentine's Day was an enjoyable experience. We have been to this establishment on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. Besides the regular menu they always have a large selection of specials which you will always enjoy. Last night the restaurant was extremely busy which was nice to see and the guests and staff all were having fun. Thanks for another great experience!!!!!
