What an amazing experience! The restaurant is so plain on the outside but then you walk inside and the decor takes you away! The wine room is stunning and the main restaurant is very elegant and moody. Our server was perfect....she checked on us just enough to let us know she was taking good care of us. The meal was paced perfectly from cocktails through dessert. My husband started with the burrata with peaches and his main course was the Seafood Bouillabaisse with gnocchi. I started with the carpaccio (the fried capers just popped in your mouth!) and loved my Picanha Wagyu. Every dish was cooked perfectly and the presentations were beautiful. I highly recommend a night at this restaurant! Thank you to the entire staff for making our evening so special!

Javier and Hailey at the bar top were astounding! Hopefully, I spelled their names correctly. Decided on their special for both the appetizer and entrée. Started with a Tuna Tartare, had their Halibut for the entre, and finished with their Roasted Banana Cheesecake. All three dishes were incredible, to say the least. With the Tartare and Halibut, every component of the dishes played into the next making each bite an adventure of its own. As I've always thought, if something is a special or a feature, it's one for a reason. Chef David has something truly special here and I'll be sure to visit again when I'm back in the area.

For a place that is usually awesome, tonight was extremely mediocre. I expect the food to be incredible for the price point, but only one of our dinners was good. The menu has become very limited and there is no dessert worth getting. I don’t think we will go back because we expect so much more for the expense

It was our first visit to David's and our Server, Tricia, did an amazing job of walking us through our options and the menu. The Chef is clearly very talented and creative...appetizers were delicious and the mains were even better. Service was outstanding from the initial greeting to the goodbyes upon departure. Would highly recommend!

David’s is the best restaurant in Fernandina I have eaten in. Servers were very attentive and professional. The food was five-star quality in terms of both presentation and taste. David’s seems like a very upscale restaurant, but dress can be casual. I would highly recommend David’s to anyone who is looking for a high-quality dining experience. Birthday, anniversary, this is the place to dine.

We are locals and have visited David's many times. This used to be our favorite. Our last two visits have been below average, especially considering that a couple typically spends around $300. This time we were celebrating a birthday. The filet mignon was smothered in a soupy mushroom risotto. Great filet mignon stands alone as a wonderful, flavorful entree. The Chilean Sea Bass was dry. On a positive note, the French Onion soup was quite good. The lamp was excellent. The server was OK.

Went for our anniversary and everything was perfect. The octopus appetizer was some of the best I’ve ever had and the filet mignon was sooo good. Loved it with the bernaise sauce. The banana cheese cake blew us away, it is beyond words. This is our New Romantic date night go to!
