   One of the most enjoyable meals we've had in Amsterdam. The staff was so attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The food...the lava stone cooking was new to us but so fun and engaging for our meal. I had the tomato soup which was full of flavor and texture. I don't think I've had as Wonderful a meal in Amsterdam. Highly recommend.

   Cooking your own steak on a super-hot stone (not sure of the material, but it retains heat for a long time) is a unique experience. It works perfectly for tasty meats, burgers, and more.

   We were in Amsterdam for Christmas and by coincidence, so were our son and daughter-in-law! Totally uncoordinated! We chose Day's StoneGrill for our Christmas dinner. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation. This was no problem and we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and had no problem accommodating 'substitutions' for the 'set' menu. The food was excellent and the experience of 'grilling' our entree was new and fun (some reviews state that they were put off by having to prepare their own meat--" We had to work"). Sorry, but that was one of the benefits of this arrangement--prepare as you prefer. This experience and meal was out of the ordinary and VERY pleasing! Wish we had something like this in our town in the USA.

   So great I’m going there again…. Don’t be fooled by the restaraunts exterior. It’s amazing, I’m from the UK and have visited steak restaurants such as Gauchos and this is so much better.

   What can I say baully and his team are amazing and friendly and deliver a very professional service .the overall atmosphere in the restaurant is chilled and relaxed , I love you get to cook yourself own steak on a stone makes dinning more fun , the quality of the steaks are fantastic and well worth the price I would highly recommend this restaurant when you are visiting Amsterdam . You could try walk in , but I would advise that you book in advance to ensure a table . When I ate here the whole experience from start to finish was amazing

    I’ve been there with 3 friends, They ordered Sirloin I got the T-Bone. The sirloins were tender and good, the T-Bone was terrible, gummy and hard to cut. When the waitress came and asked I told her there was issue only with my meat, she said “sorry about that”. She didn’t try to make up for it, so at this point I wonder why would you ask how was the meat, if when the client tells you the meat was no good you do nothing about it? I wasn’t expecting any discount or such, but they could have least tried better.

    Dear Marco, First of all thank you for your visit. However we ask every course if everything is alright and you said everything was perfect. Once we take plates again we ask for the second time and then you gave us the feedback of the t-bone, but you finished the t-bone totally and didn't leave anything behind, that is also why we couldn't do anything as you didn't mention it before and the plate was already finished.
