   Jonathan was fabulous… And we loved our food! It was a great experience, and the live music was icing on the cake! The gentleman who plays on Monday nights is incredibly talented!

   1 of 4 steaks undercooked so sending that back always delays things…food was OK, restaurant was less than 1/2 filled and service was slow…but there were a lot of severs, so not sure what everyone was doing….had to ask for the bill 3 times…

   Ate here twice. The grilled endive salad and grilled shrimp were excellent. But during the second visit to the restaurant, which was at the same time slot as the one only a day prior (the restaurant was part of an all inclusive package at the hotel) extremely bright lights in large planters suddenly turned on before the entree was even served. The lights were about head level for seated diners, and were reminiscent of bars turning on the bright lights to make patrons leave at closing time. As someone with a (hopefully temporary) vision problem, the lights quickly started giving me a headache. If you were seated along the front half-high stone wall there was no way to avoid looking into the lights besides moving the table out and rearranging seats to face into the restaurant. In fact, the other diners seated along the wall also asked for the lights to be turned off. Despite several requests, including unsuccessfully asking for the manager, no one turned off the lights. My husband put a napkin over the one closest to my line of vision, but it was not enough. He had to go back to the room to get my sunglasses! The restaurant did send someone to remove the napkin (no chance of fire; they were LED bulbs).

   Amazing steak, we ordered a tomahawk and a ny steak to start, the tomahawk was good, the ny steak was from heaven, not sure how else to describe it, we ended up ordering a second one for dessert. Service was great, price point is not the cheapest, but if that’s not a barrier, I highly recommend it.

   Did the surf and turf for dinner. The ribeye was a little tough for the price. Shrimp was yummy as were the scallops and organic salad. Had a nice bottle of wine. Being on a resort they kind of gauge you on the price, but the staff was fantastic and the ambience was really nice.
