   This is now the second time I’ve been to Dean’s with friends for dinner. Both times the service, cocktails and food were wonderful. About the only knock is their prices on the premium Tequila selections. I will definitely come back, and recommend it.

   Took my wife for her birthday, we sat in a quiet booth. Service was excellent. Food was very good and very nice peaceful enjoyable dinner. We’re both very happy.

   We enjoyed our elegant post ballet dining experience at Dean’s with attentive and thoughtful service by Lawrence and his team. We all had the smaller filets, mine in Italian Oscar style which was delicious and so tender we could have cut it with a butter knife, but appreciated the exquisite steak cutlery with pearlized handles.Honoring a decade of friendship, my daughter & her bestie were also quite enamored of their Mocktails and the amazing bread. Tiramisu was perfectly on point…not overly sweet and paired with a tawny port for pure perfection. We will definitely return for other special occasions …

   Meal 4.8/ 5 but I hope the experience is better next time. Crab cake was delicious, 8oz filet was so tender and juicy with decadent sauces and seafood. Sweet potatoes were nostalgic perfection. ❗️ I also ordered ginger ALE and had several discussions that I do not consume alcohol - it tasted bad but no one came by my table. (Receipt says ginger BEER.) The service… My server started great but disappeared after the main course. ❗️ No one picked up my dirty plate, ever. I eventually gave up on getting dessert, and flagged down a host and waited and waited. The manager came with the check and I said the check took forever, I was going to order dessert. ❗️ He was surly and said well we time our meals for people to relax. WHAT? I sat and waited with a dirty plate for so long waiting to order dessert. I was there over an hour on a Monday. I was speechless. He could have just said I'm sorry…. On my way out, I asked to speak to the manager again. ❗️ He came out front, stood a few feet from me, looked at me, walked to the computer and had me wait 5+ minutes looking over at me, then left to walk back to the kitchen. I guess he could not be bothered. He stopped a woman who reports to him to speak to me. She was great (Isabelle). Because of Isabelle, Justin the host, Sierra and the chef's food, I'll try it again at some point but not for another celebration. Otherwise, I would never go back or bring clients to a high-end steakhouse with that manager. Maybe it was an off night - he made it a VERY bad experience. Far from even basic good service especially from management… I will say GOOD JOB to Isabelle, the Chef, Sierra, Justin, etc.! I do like the environment and the food but overall, beyond disappointing.

   4 of us who have been in the restaurant industry for over 25 years dined together, and the level of service from Gabriella was at the top of anything we’ve ever experienced! Ask for her if you can. All of our was outstanding, beautifully presented, and perfectly prepared. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

   The steak was great. The mac and cheese was amazing 10 out of 10. Its a must. Even better than their food is their service. The wait staff was on top of it and made it that much more enjoyable. If u are in Austin, this is a good choice!
